The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) operates a fleet of 16 Sikorsky S-70B2 Seahawk helicopters, which are embarked aboard the Adelaide class and ANZAC class frigates. Fitted with a Rockwell Collins tactical data system that presents the crew with an integrated tactical picture of the battlespace, the Seahawks also feature a frequency agile radar, sonobuoy-based acoustics system, magnetic anomaly detector, FLIR and ESM suite. The rotorcraft, which can transmit target information for third-party weapons engagement, is armed with the Mk 46 lightweight torpedo.
